CONTENT AND FORMAT INSTRUCTIONS

Abstracts

  • Please use UK English and adhere to the instructions provided here and in the submission platform.
  • The abstract should be a single paragraph (maximum 500 words) and should follow the style of structured abstracts, but without headings: 1) Background: Place the question addressed in a broad context and highlight the purpose of the study; 2) Methods: Briefly describe the main methods or treatments applied. Include any relevant preregistration numbers, species, and strains of any animals used. 3) Results: Summarize the article’s main findings; and 4) Conclusion: Indicate the main conclusions or interpretations. The abstract should be an objective representation of the work presented: it must not contain results that will not be presented or substantiated in the communication, and it should not exaggerate the main findings. No tables, figures, or references should be included. Abbreviations should be kept to a minimum. Place abbreviations in parentheses after the full term, the first time it appears.
  • Upon submission, you must provide a title, the authors’ names and affiliations, an abstract and keywords (max. 5).

Proceedings

  • If opting to publish your work in the Medical Sciences Forum journal, ensure compliance with the journal’s template and formatting guidelines (submission available to authors who choose this registration option, after abstract acceptance).

Important: Submissions that fail to meet the requirements or do not adhere to the provided template will be automatically rejected.
